COATINGS
FOR USE IN
THE COLD
Watco pioneered the development of Polyaspartic
resins for everyday use in Europe. This innovative
two-part floor coating technology paved the way
for new and improved product application and
performance, including:
•
•
•
•
Cold Curing - allowing interior and exterior projects
to continue, even at minus 10°C.
UV resistance - resistance to chalking, fading or
peeling after time in the sun.
Chemical resistance - the ability to defend against a
wide range of commercial and industrial chemicals.
Fast curing - allowing two coats to be put down in a
day, saving you time and money.
Polyaspartic resin technology has changed the face
of floor coatings. Most notably, providing paints and
coatings that can cure in extremely cold temperatures,
as low as 20°C.
The temperature of a floor is typically 8°C lower than
the air temperature so when temperatures drop, it’s
usually extremely difficult to paint a floor. Whether it’s
freezing weather, unheated areas or due to works in
cold storage or freezer rooms, polyaspartic coatings will
give a high quality, long lasting finish, even in extreme
temperatures.
